NB** If you have a benefit-related form that is due to be with the DWP within the next week:

Please call them and explain that you cannot access appropriate advice at the moment as we are closed due to COVID-19 precautionary measures
be clear that you are a vulnerable client, because of your disability, and need our advice and help to complete the form
ask for an extension – although at this present time we cannot say exactly when we will be able to see clients – and we will try our very best to see you once we are able to reopen

The DWP have been clear that no-one will be sanctioned if they cannot attend an assessment if they are self-isolating – please see their advice here:https://wwwgov.uk/government/news/coronavirus-support-for-employees-benefit-claimants-and-businesses
